VASTU TIPS FOR BASEMENT

Though this is an earlier posting of mine but I am re posting it for those who joined me later.

In today's time, the construction of basement has become the need, due to limited space available for residence. Though a vacant space under the house is not considered auspicious according to Vastu, yet some points are considered while constructing a basement. 

As per Vastu, building a  basement in northern or eastern portion of the house is considered good. But if we have to construct a basement then  It is necessary to keep more vacant space in the North and East than in the south and west. Keeping this in view, the basement in north and east direction is beneficial. Ideally, basement should not be built under entire house.  
Basement should not be used for residential purpose. It can be used as store room and office.

Some people use basement as storage tank of water. Storage of water in basement would always be auspicious in north-east, north-west and at eastern and northern angles.

FENGSHUI TIPS FOR WEALTH

Here are some important fengshui tips for wealth. As per fengshui the sector that governs wealth is the southeast and the element is wood. In order to get full benefit of fengshui we must start from the beginning.

1) The first and the most important step is to perform a" Space Clearing procedure". As we know that every environment has accumulated negative energy, or "sha chi", that needs to be eliminated. This procedure will make all other cures more effective. Without doing this the effect will not be seen. .

2) The southeast corner of your home and/or office must be kept as clean and orderly as possible. The lighting should resemble natural light, not too bright or too dim. As this is considered very important.

3) It is always advisable to keep a constant light on in this area, or at least leave it lit daily for as long as possible. If not for longer time than at least half an hour or more.

4) A well maintained aquarium is excellent in this area, since water enhances wood. It can be big or small. Choose bright, energetic fish to stimulate positive 'chi'. Nine gold fish are an auspicious number. Eight gold and one black are recommended. Kak fish is very good for the aquarium. A fountain would also add a positive water feature. Choose one or the other. Both would be too powerful.

5) If maintaining an aquarium is too difficult, a painting, sculpture, or hanging talisman depicting beautiful golden fish will activate the same energy. So you can hang whatever is feasible in your home.

•    Keep bedroom in the south-west of the house.
•    Avoid bedroom in south-east as this is a fire place. It may lead to the clashes between the couple.   
•    Place bed in the southwest portion of the bedroom. Avoid placing bed in northern and eastern zone of the bedroom. It may cause mental stress and financial instability.
•    Keep head-side of the bed in south direction.
•     Use wooden bed instead of metal bed.  
•     Always build square or rectangle bedrooms which bring peace and love in life.  I irregular shapes should be avoided.
•    Paint walls in light colors like green, light blue, rose pink. Avoid red color in the         bedroom. You can use pink and light shades of red like peach etc.



DON’T DO

•    Do not use Northeast bedroom in case you are newly wed couple.
•    Never place the bed under a beam. It may cause bad effects on health.
•    Avoid mirror in married couple’s bedroom. It may lead to quarrels between the couple.
•    Avoid Computer and T.V in bedroom as they will reflect like a mirror. If you place T.V and Computer in bedroom, cover them with a cloth while sleeping in the night.
•    Ensure that the under ground water tank is not in the south-west direction.  
•    Avoid paintings that symbolize death, violence and negative aspects of life.

Terrorism in India. Just like 9/11 . Also thanks to all my friends for their concern

India was hit by worst act of terrorism on 26/ 11,  when terrorist attacked Mumbai , the western part of India. Many people died and still many are fighting for their lives in different hospitals of Mumbai. Three top most officers died in this attack in encountering them. Many other soldiers and commandos died in this attack. Worst was when they attacked the main railway station. In two five star hotels they occupied the whole floor and upper part was burning with flames. They captured many families in another guest hose. The whole act was shocking for the whole nation. It is just like  USA  went through  on 9/11.

I am thankful to all my friends who had send messages to me asking about my welfare. I am absolutely fine and am very glad to have such caring friends. I and my family are all safe and sound. We are still in a state of shock ....Everyone is worried about those who were their and as this is still going on.....Let's pray it stops soon.

 The terrible incidence of terrorism has shocked us all.  We sincerely pray for all those brave soldiers who lost their life in this operation. My sincere prayers are also for those who lost their lives in this act of terrorism, without having any fault of theirs. We must stop this blood shed and let us all unite together and pray for all those who lost their lives and also those who are injured in this shameful act of terrorism. Let us all condemn this act.

May the soul of all these martyr's  rest in peace - Amen.
