Always keep in mind that-

1. Toilets should to be in the North-West or West of the house/building.

2. If it is an attached toilet, it should preferably be to the North-West side of the room.

3. If the West and North-West corners are not available, the next best option is the South-East of the building or room.

4. Avoid constructing a toilet in the center of the building and in the North-East corner of the building.

5. The toilet should be one or two feet higher than the ground level.

1.   As a part of Vastu advice, it is considered good to place a water body at the corner in the northeast direction of the house.

2.    For constructing a plot, the best directions are South, west and southwest.

3.    Vastu remedies suggest that the construction should be done in such a manner that there is more of open space in Northern and Eastern directions.

4.    The designing of the house should be done keeping in mind that it must provide for ample space for cross ventilation and sunlight.

5.    No trees are recommended in the north, east or northeast direction. If you still want to grow plants here, then only opt for small plants.

6.    Plant trees taking care that their shadow does not fall on the house.

7.    Any photo that depicts violence in any form should not be placed in the house.

• The house should always be kept need and clean and all the wastage etc., should be dumped or stored in west of the house.
• Hide the cleaning  equipments and then keep them away from the eyes. They should not be visible to the person entering the house.
  
• Dustbins should not be kept in front of the door.They should preferably be kept in west direction.
  
• Change the bed-sheets during day time.
• Don't keep dirty clothes with the washed clothes
• There should be a separate towel for every member of the family and for guests.
