  Directions play an important role in vastu.Without knowing the correct direction one cannot make the vastu corrections.So before going into the depth of vastu we must know the directions of vastu.To know the directions, we must follow the following tips-
1. Put a compass in the middle of your house (or a floor plan)
2. Divide the house into 8 sections with the even degree . They have become North, Notheast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest grids.
3. The center of the house is the 'Center Grid' ,contains about 1/9 of the house area.
