1. There should be a separate towel for every member of the family and for guests.
2. You should not provide three doors on a single wall, especially in the front of the house.
3. You should not construct a circular stairs in the house.
4. It is very auspicious to view rising sun after taking bath in the morning.
5. A blue bed sheet should not be used in the house.
6. One should always wear neat and clean clothes while working.
7. Every thing should be properly placed and well organized in your house, to ensure good luck.
8. Keep your cash and jewelry in the safe or locker which opens in the north.

  Directions play an important role in vastu.Without knowing the correct direction one cannot make the vastu corrections.So before going into the depth of vastu we must know the directions of vastu.To know the directions, we must follow the following tips-
1. Put a compass in the middle of your house (or a floor plan)
2. Divide the house into 8 sections with the even degree . They have become North, Notheast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest grids.
3. The center of the house is the 'Center Grid' ,contains about 1/9 of the house area.

We get the four main directions The East, The West, The North and The South and the sub directions The South-East, the South-West, the North-West and North-East. Every direction has its own importance inVastushastra
